Milk and derived products are rich in calcium and other important substances. In addition to healthy weight, it can make a person suspected milk outlive.



These conclusions were expressed by researchers from the UK and Australia. According to them, the consumption of foods rich in calcium plays an important part in protection against stroke and other causes of death.

In his research, the researchers followed the 4374 children living in England who had participated in the study of the 1930s and found that those who consumed foods rich in calcium and milk are healthier.
The study showed that daily milk intake of 300 milligrams, which contains 400 milligrams of calcium, may reduce the likelihood of dying from stroke by 60 percent.

The researchers said although dairy products have a high cholesterol content, but milk consumption does not increase the risk of heart disease. Evidence also showed a high calcium diet is good for human blood pressure.

The study was conducted by researchers from the University of Bristol, England, and Queensland Institute of Medical ResearchAustralia, who said that a hormone called Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1)similar to insulin, may be a factor that affects the circulatory and cardiac.

Although the study has revealed some positive aspects regarding the consumption of dairy products, Stroke Association in the UK stated that further study needs to be done.

In addition to suggesting that consuming a balanced diet, rich in fruits and vegetables, and low in saturated acids, sugars and salt.To reduce saturated fat intake, the researchers advised to choose low-fat milk. The authors of the study have also been reminded about the meeting and expressed levels of income and employment also may be one factor.
