Diligent eating fruits is one of the keys to healthy living and longevityIn addition to fresh fruit, experts say the fruit is dried it turns out the same healthy with fresh fruit.




This was confirmed by nutritional experts at the congress of The World Nut and Dried Fruit. One goal of this congress is to improve understanding of the global community of the importance of dried fruits, like fresh fruit.


Dr. Daniel Gallaher of the University of Minnesota, USA, revealeddried fruits are also good sources of fiber. "Like fresh fruit, dried fruit also has a low glycemic load and play an important role to prevent metabolic diseases such as diabetes," he said.


Research also shows dried fruit have the same benefits for preventing cancer. "Although the mechanism is not yet known, the fruit extract can stop cancer cell proliferation and suppress inflammation," said Dr. Andriana Kaliora, another researcher.


Some types of dried fruit also contains polyphenols that are known to protect the heart from damage. 


Nevertheless, some experts also said dried fruits like candied sugar too much, so do not over do the fat people eat.
